SUMMARY OF ROLE

In the role as a Reinsurance Broker you act as an advocate and professional advisor for your client. The objective is always to develop and execute the most effective and suitable reinsurance strategies, solutions and transactions possible for the client.

You need to develop and maintain a strong network and close relations with reinsurers, and internally to colleagues within the greater Guy Carpenter, in order to leverage the best competencies and to always keep updated on the current status in the reinsurance market.

You will also need to develop a close relationship to your client, at all levels in their organization, in order to continuously meet their challenges and ambitions, as well as to build trust and confidence in your advisory role.

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

For this role we are requiring a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering or similar.

Experience from insurance or reinsurance, preferably from broking or underwriting is valuable.
